Community: Together We Serve
Our PowerPoints have been designed across 5 sessions, ending with the Poetry Competition or a community engagement event. It can be delivered in a drop down/ personal development day, or spread across the week and delivered during form time. It is designed for use by non-specialists and specialists alike, with detailed teacher notes, and if you only have 1 hour: don't worry! Just deliver the first two sessions. This Inter Faith Week, F&BF have recorded live resources, exploring the theme Community: Together We Serve. In these recordings, we hear from people of faith, answering questions on what community means to them, how they build community, and what some of the biggest challenges are they face.
To build an inclusive school, representation is vital. Use these recordings to bring authentic voices, and real lived experiences, into your classroom: and explore with your students the key themes, similarities and differences between the speaker's stories.
